The complete keyboard shortcut reference for Velnode Browser, a product of Dignity New Zealand Limited. Every shortcut listed here is sourced directly from lib/shortcuts.js — the single registry that drives both the chrome-focus keydown path and the main-process page-focus relay, so the two can never drift from each other or from this document.

Platform convention. All shortcuts use Ctrl on Windows and Linux, Cmd on macOS. Where both are shown as Ctrl/Cmd, either applies on the matching platform.
Chrome-focus vs page-focus. Most shortcuts work regardless of whether a web page or Velnode's own chrome (toolbar, tabs, address bar) holds focus. The notes column calls out the few that are chrome-focus only.

When Kids Mode is active, the following shortcuts are disabled regardless of focus state:

Voice input is an opt-in surface. The global push-to-talk shortcut is Ctrl/Cmd + Alt + /. Voice Mode must be enabled in Settings → Voice before this shortcut is active.
The wake-word ("Hey Vee") is a separate opt-in download and is not bundled with the installer. Configure it under Settings → Voice once downloaded.
Hands-free and voice-navigation modes also require the master "Enable Voice Mode" toggle to be on.
